Hello folks

FIRST - Please keep this info confidential

I have a conversation going with a staffer at city hall in Boston about resolution.
I need:
- the most updated list of cities in Mass that have passed similar resolutions
- the date of the hearing for the state bill is going to be - do we know this?
- finally, the language for proposed resolution - two versions
what the "dream/top choice" resolution language will be
2nd choice

The city councilors are more likely to move something that supports the state bill S 772 as opposed to the federal push - so please keep that in mind with the resolution language.

Ultimately, we would want this resolution to happen before the hearing for the state bill. So I want to push hard for at least 2 weeks before once I get the date.
The spirited dialogue around the draft resolution got me thinking: we
need a meeting! I'm sensitive to the fact that this weekend is
quite busy for folks, so how does next Sunday, February 12th at
3:00PM sound? Feel free to respond with an alternative
suggestion if that doesn't work for you.

There a quite a few latent action items that need to get done in
advance of this meeting. Here's what I got:
1) A complete draft of the resolution. [Heleni, Laura, John]
Due by Thursday, to allow the group to review in advance of the
meeting.
2) Talking points. [Patrick<-- are you still interested?]
Due by next meeting.
3) Research on the Boston City Council [Rachel, Erica]
Due by next meeting.

If you'd like to join one of the existing efforts, please email
the list and I'll connect you to the right people.

Finally, I updated the wiki with a ton of new information and
resources. Check it out and add to it, especially those of you who
are doing research work:
